The Saint-Estephe appellation began its history in the 16th century. It is now owned by the Delon family. In addition to this winery, they also own Chateau Moulin de la Rose in Saint-Julien, which was bought by Guy Delon in 1985. It is now run by his children Jean-Françoise Delon and Guyelene Delon.

Their vineyards are next to the Gironde River and benefit from its microclimate, which lowers temperatures in summer and increases them in winter. The soil is mainly gravel with excellent natural drainage. The vineyards cover an area of 7 hectares.

Age of vineyard is 30 years and the varieties planted are 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot.

Planting: 9,000 heads per hectare

Harvesting is done by hand.

Vinification in stainless steel vats, maceration 3 weeks

Ageing: 20 months in oak barrels, 30% of which are new
