This Chateau is located 14 km south of Saint-Emilion in the Entre-deux-Mers appellation and was built in 1782. Pierre Lurton bought it in 1991. He knew it very well as he was born not far from here (at Château Reynier). Little by little he bought up the land until he acquired 16 hectares of exceptional clay and limestone tracks. The vineyards are old and young (some even planted in the 1920s).

Pierre Lurton is also president of two iconic wineries: the Château Cheval Blanc in St Emilion and the Château d'Yquem in Sauternes.

Average age of wineyard: 20 years

Planting: 5,000 heads per hectare

Yield: 58 hl/ha

Fermentation in concrete tanks, maceration 20-25 days

Ageing: 12 months in French barrels, half of which are new
