Product detailed description

This winery has been operating in Margaux for 250 years. It takes its name from the famous Baron Jacques-Maxime de Brane, "Napoléon of the vineyards", owner of this Chateau in the 19th century. Cantenac is then the name of a part of Margaux. Brane-Cantenac has now been owned by the Lurton family for four generations. Henri Lurton, the owner, has been the boss since 1992. In recent years he has been converting to organic farming.

They have a total of 75 hectares of vineyards. They are planted with 55% CS, 40% Merlot, 4.5% CF, 0.5% Carmenère.

Aging: 18 months in oak barrels, 70% of which are new.
